Alex and Brandon are so special to me. When Alex and I first met for her maternity session, we quickly realized how much we had in common and it instantly felt like we had known each other forever. And top of that, we found out that even our significant others worked together for the same company. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding (after photographing several milestones already), I was emotional!

Alex’s dress was unlike anything I’d ever seen, I mean, it probably weighed 20 pounds all on its own from the layers and beadwork. She looked like an absolute princess in the best of ways. I am not a crier, but hearing the personal vows Alex and Brandon had written to each other moved me to tears. The glow they had about them is something I will never forget.

Just a quick side note, if you ever want to meet a real life superhero, I suggest meeting Alex’s mom. The roles she played on the wedding day were endless, helping everything move along seamlessly; maid of honour, grandma, babysitter, seamstress, therapist, just to name a few. What a special person to have in life.

Alex and Brandon, you deserve all the happiness in the world.
